Leave the driving to Freedom Transit... This year's festival will feature public transportation from downtown Gettysburg to the Gateway Gettysburg Complex! Shuttles will run every hour from 11:20 am and 6:20 pm, with pick-up and drop-off at the entrance to the festival. Visit www.ridethetrolley.com to determine if your hotel is along the Gray Line route. And the best part...the fare is just $1 per ride or pay $3 to ride all day!
From Baltimore:
Take exit 19 toward for I-795/NW Expy toward Owings Mills/Reisterstown. Merge onto I-795N. Take exit 9B for State Hwy 140W toward Westminster. Merge onto MD-140/Wesminster Rd. Take the exit toward Littlestown Pike/MD-97. Keep right at fork, continue toward Littlestown Pike/ MD-97 and merge onto Littlestown Pike/MD-97 (crossing into Pennsylvania). Continue on Baltimore Pike/PA-97 approximately 9 miles, turn right onto the ramp to Harrisburg. Merge onto US-15 N, travel approximately 3 miles and take the York St./US-30 exit. Keep right at the fork, follow the signs for New Oxford and merge onto York Road/US-30. At the first traffic light turn right onto Gateway Blvd.
From Harrisburg:
Take US 15S (approximately 35 miles). Take the York St./US-30 exit. Keep left at the fork, turn left onto US-30/York Rd. At the first traffic light turn right onto Gateway Blvd.
From Frederick:
Take US-15N and follow signs to Gettysburg. Take the York St./US-30 exit. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for New Oxford and merge onto US-30/York Rd. At the first traffic light turn right onto Gateway Blvd.
